Dieu Donné Botanical Range Blush
Winemaker Gregory Siebrits
The vines are situated high at 450m above sea level on steep southwest facing slopes. This tempers the sun, ensuring cool summer conditions and slow ripening of the grapes with high natural acids.
The soil is weathered granite with rocky topsoil, found only in this corner of the Franschhoek valley, called Greywack.
Hand harvested late February in the cool morning.
This Rosé was blended after fermentation in the stainless steel tanks.
Fermentation Temprature: 15°C
Tasting Notes:
A soft pale pink Rosé made in a dry style with berry and vanilla character.
Best Enjoyed:
Enjoy on its own or with summer salads and seafood.
